Free-medical camps in flood-affected areas

Essential medicines and relief materials were distributed among the flood victims at Tekani Primary School premises of Kazipur Upazila of Sirajganj.Bangladesh Medical Associations (BMA) Publicity and Public Relations Md. Mahbubur Rahman (Babu) told this information in the press release.He said, Saturday's BMA Social Welfare Secretary under the supervision of Sohel Mahmud, doctors from the medical camp provided medical treatment and necessary medicines. The public has been given the necessary advice about various diseases related to flood water and to prevent it. During this time relief materials were distributed among the flood victims.BMA president Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, former MP of Sirajganj-1 constituency Tanvir Shakil Joy and BMA Secretary General Dr Md. This free-medical camp was organized to provide specialist medical services to the people of the flood-affected areas of the flood affected areas under the overall supervision of Ietsamul Huq Chowdhury.
