The responsibility of the state will be to protect the tribal lands

Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said the state will have to take responsibility for the protection of the tribal lands.

Landguides are taking advantage of indigenous land on various pretexts, by different strategies. The state will have to come forward from this situation.Menon said, Adivasis have a strong role in the liberation war since the anti-British movement. Indigenous peoples, culture and heritage are closely related to their land.
