World famous physicist Stephen William Hawking has died.

Today's news of his death was confirmed on Wednesday morning. At the time of his death, he was 76 years old.

The incident was confirmed by Hawking's family on Wednesday morning in a statement.

Hawking's three children, Lucy, Robert and Tim, confirmed the matter of their father's death in a statement, "We are very sorry that our father has left today. He was a great scientist and a great man. His left action will continue for many years.

Hawking is considered one of the world's theoretical physicists. He was also the Lucasian Professor of the University of Cambridge (Sir Isaac Newton, who was once in this post).

He retired on 1 October 2009. However, he was working as the Ganoville in Cambridge and the Fellow of Kayas College.
