In the Panama Paper scandal, Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for the post of prime minister.

Now he has been disqualified for his life in Pakistan's elections. According to Article 62 (1) (F) of the Constitution, Nawaz has been declared ineligible.On Friday, the five-member bench of the Supreme Court unanimously declared the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif disqualified for life in the election. As a result, he can not participate in any other election in Pakistan and can not be a member of Parliament of the country.In 2015, the issue of corruption in Nawaz Sharif came in the Panama Paper scandal. After this, investigations started against Nawaz and his family members. The Supreme Court declared him disqualified as the prosecution was proved against him in the court. He was forced to step aside from the post of Prime Minister.Even after losing the prime minister, he was leading the party by amending a law because of its majority in the parliament, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
