Private mobile operators will already be able to launch the first four-generation internet, but they will be able to launch this service before August, the country's only state-owned mobile phone company Teletalk.

Teletalk has been lagging behind due to non-approved projects for network expansion.The information was given at the 23rd meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology held at the National Parliament House on Sunday.However, this year, all the districts, all the upazilas in 019 and by 2020, the government mobile operator wants to reach for the services of all the unions. Meanwhile, they want to increase the number of subscribers from 45 million to at least one and a half million. There are plans to invest 9, 528 million taka for this purpose. Out of which, it is being considered for the expenditure of Tk 700 crore from its own fund in the current fiscal year.
