The company's shareholding process is back again

The process of releasing the shares of the government companies back again for a year.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has ordered the companies to bring the profits to the beneficiary situation.Earlier, a high-level committee headed by Additional Secretary of the Department of Finance Mosleuddin Chowdhury has been formed to review the latest status of the companies.A meeting was held in the Secretariat presided over by the finance minister in the chairmanship of government stock market. Senior Secretary of Bank and Financial Institutions Yunusur Rahman, chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), representatives of government companies and senior officials were present in the meeting.Due to bureaucratic complications and non-cooperation of government companies, the decision to drop the shares of these companies has been repeatedly delayed. Since 2008, the process for the release of shares of government companies in 26 companies is going on. It has been taken more than once during the present government. Even finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith several times tied up the concerned. But till now the initiative was not implemented. On Wednesday's meeting, the process was delayed for another year.
