Israel is playing with fire

The Arab League warned that Israel is playing with fire on the pretext of increasing safety of the Mosque of Akbar in Jerusalem.

This warning has been pronounced in a statement on Sunday. It said the foreign ministers of the League are going to sit for an emergency meeting on Wednesday to discuss the issue of Israeli-Palestinian violence. After a bloody clash in the Mosque of Akkor Mosque, Israel closed the mosque on July 14. Although it was reopened after two days, Israeli forces took new security measures including the use of metal detectors and cameras in mosque. And in view of this, the Muslims refused to enter and protested and they were offering prayers in the outer courtyard of the mosque. So far five Palestinians have been killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers since Friday.Arab League Secretary General Abul Gheyt said in the statement, "Jerusalem is a forbidden border that is not allowed to cross the Muslims and Arabs. Today, try to impose a new ban on what is happening in the holy city. Israeli authorities are playing with fire and are taking the risk of creating a major crisis with the Arab and Muslim world''.The Arab League foreign ministers are scheduled to sit in an emergency meeting on the Palestinian issue in Cairo on Wednesday, the statement said.
